“I love you. And I want to spend time with you.” That’s what God is saying to you every day. The way you spend your time and the decisions you make everyday are very important to God. We probably do not comprehend how much it really grieves God for Him to know exactly what we need, and then, us choose to do other things, rather than choose to spend time with Him to get the answers.
God’s will is that we talk with him on a day-to-day basis. There is a great spiritual awakening taking place and we won’t be a part of it if we are living according to the ways of the world rather than the will of God. And prayer is the only way that connection with God can be made. God is calling us to prayer! God is waiting on us to talk to Him! God has some things He would like to say to us! It’s time, right now to pray!
Prayer is our solid foundation! Prayer is our avenue to victory and great success. Prayer is where we tap into the anointing of the Holy Spirit. David talks about the anointing in Psalm 92:10, “…I am anointed with fresh oil” (amp). Notice he didn’t say, “God might anoint me.” David said, “I am anointed.” The anointing of the Holy Spirit is not just for apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. The anointing is for every born again believer! God has an anointing just for YOU!
Whatever you are doing in life, you must realize God has an anointing for it! That anointing was given to you by God to live a life of victory and great success. Verses 12-13 goes on to say, “The [uncompromisingly] righteous shall flourish like the palm tree [be long-lived, stately, upright, useful, and fruitful]; they shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon [majestic, stable, durable, and incorruptible]. Planted in the house of the Lord, they shall flourish in the courts of our God” (amp).
Who will flourish? Those who are planted in the house of the Lord. There are some blessings that can only be received in the house of the Lord. In other words, the only way to receive some of God’s good blessings is for us to be faithful, loyal and committed to the house of the Lord. David said, “I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord.” David, also said, “I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of the Lord than live in the goodly homes of the wicked.” David went on to say, “I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” David knew that the only way to receive the fullness of God’s blessings was to stay connected to the house of God. If you are not actively involved in a local church family, there are some blessings you are missing out on, that you will not receive until you get completely connected to God’s house. For your blessings sake, get connected to a local church. Get involved and refuse to leave the house!
God is not trying to keep His blessings and anointing from you. As a matter of fact, it’s His desire that you operate in His anointing and receive His blessings because He is a winner and He wants to prove to the whole world that you are too. But you have to make up your mind to receive it and use the anointing He has given you. And always keep believing “something good is going to happen to you.”

Praise the Lord amen, thanks for that Makes me realize I need to be in prayer more then ever, and let the Holy Spirit take over my prayer life. You came about 8 years or so agao to a church that we were going to and involved in ministry at in California, Calvary Christian Center, and we were so blessed and the spirit of the lord moved in a mighty way. Sadly that church is no longer going, it fell apart and people went there seperate way’s and many are not living right for the Lord now. It saddens me and my husbands hearts and we can only pray for those people now. The lord since then has moved us up to Northern California, in a town called Redding, and we have been at our present church Christian Life Center for 6 1/2 years now serving in the ministry. I was just wanting you to please be in prayer for us as the Lord has been speaking to my husband and our family we need direction and the Lords guidance right now, we feel a change is going to take place for our family weather we will be moving or not I don’t know or will God give us the freedom to be released from our Church. We don’t know but are praying, and would ask for your prayers also. Thank you very much, and thank you for being a blessing to our family and for Truely spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
